Bersih?

BERSIH...Do you think Malaysia's ruling coalition is clean?

If you do, you are probably the dumbest or most naive person on this earth.

Even a stray dog is cleaner...

I am back. Sorry I have to say what's in my mind. I will be stoned if I don't say it! Just go to the youtube.com to get some "BERSIH" video clips. Why did they crown a peace rally "Illegal?" Because the authority did not want to approve it. And why did they not approve it? Because they wanted it to be illegal so no one dare to show up!

"BERSIH demands the following reforms:

The use of permanent ink to ensure that voters may only vote once.

A clean out of the electoral rolls to remove entries that are no longer valid such as deceased people.

The abolition of postal votes on the basis that they are easily abused.

Perhaps most importantly, Bersih demands that all candidates and political parties have equal access to print and broadcast media."

Had it not been the force and pressure from the authority, the 100,000 crowd target could easily be achieved. Frugal estimation showed the number to be 40,000. Much more than this number of people could not get to the Istana because of blockage by the riot police. Not only that, they shot tear gas and chemical-added water canon to disperse the crowd and non of the crowd was armed! Taxi drivers, feared of life being made difficult by the authority, refused thousands of people soon after they learnt they were to join the BERSIH rally.

Well, enough said. I am going to wash my hands for having typed so much on our DIRTY BN Government.

Phil, sorry for taking up your space to lash out my discontent. If you don't agree with what I said, just delete it. If not, please let your friends read it. Thanks.
