Perak

"ENAKMEN JENAYAH (SYARIAH) 1992
3/1992
Bahagian BAHAGIAN IV KESALAHAN BERHUBUNGAN DENGAN MARUAH AGAMA DAN INSTITUSINYA
Bab

So, what utter rubbish is this? Does this mean a person who has paid the fine and served a jail sentence can freely go profess and practice another religion of his or her choice? Or is the person going to be repeatedly "punished" for an act of free will?

This is only an example from Perak, the other states have quite similar Syariah laws except for Negeri Sembilan where one is allowed to convert. I suggest all those who want to renounce Islam to go there.

Read on...another thought..

"[Had your Lord willed, all the people on earth would have believed. So can you (Prophet) compel people to believe?] (Yunus 10: 99)." commented by Hantu Gigi Jarang (more like Jalang) (http://rantingsbymm.blogspot.com/2007/05/do-we-believe-in-quran.html)

Hello?? can you hear me? SO can you? If you can, why must there be a prohibition to reject renunciation?

bakaq-a.k.a penarik beca had to use the analogy of joining the military to associate people entering and embracing Islam...a hint of terrorism, maybe?

Anyhow, if any Muslim should respond to this post with anger, disgust and frustration plus a whole lot of disappointment, this is how the world feels about the 2-1 decision. Who on earth put 2 Muslim and one non Muslim judge to decide on such issues? Real bias...flawed decision for the insecure religion.
