A trail of dust

Watching movies have always been my kind of thing to kill boredom. I woke up this morning, stare myself in the mirror and asked whether I missed watching a movie with a loved one. "Yes I do...".

Some movies have lovely endings, while some just leaves you wanting for more.

She is leaving...maybe on a jet plane. Maybe to somewhere far away, for a long time or it could be a short trip. But she is still leaving. All that is left is a trail of dust.

My face is dirty with dust. I need to scrub it clean. Put a smile on it. Turn the other way. Leaving another trail of dust.

On to bigger things

Unless you are faithful in small matters, you won't be faithful in large ones. Luke 16:10 NLT

Have I been faithful in small matters? Ask yourselves...I'm asking myself.

A Place to Belong...

At Petra Church (www.petrachurch.org.sg) , Pastor John Koe delivered a sermon I cannot forget.

It was the Sabbath day and the date was the 24th of October. My heart was still in the wilderness. The trip back to Singapore was impromptu. I was supposed to leave JB the night before for KL. But I had to abandon my plans to the request of my relatives. I am grateful. It had been a blessing; great one.

"You are an orphan until you find a belonging in a place filled with love; God's love...

These are the words that awakened me. The message was simple yet full of impact.

Steve Holy - Good Morning Beautiful

While having my tea at a local cafe, this song reminded me of what the feeling of
being in love felt. My heart is still troubled. It is still lost...

Lord guide me.

The lost canary

A canary spotted in the dense forest was seen frantically flying in circles in search of a
escape route. After circling the same trees for a period undefined, the canary perched on a branch looking fatigued and totally worn out. The forest was so dense that the sun could hardly beam its rays through the foliage. There wasn't much light to begin with to show the canary the way out. But if only the canary knew, the hardly noticeable rays of lights were the only way out.

You will never find a canary in dense forest. Unless it took the wrong turn...
