Life of a traveler

The stress of work, the feeling of not having peace...all just add up to the damage done from 3 weeks of non-stop traveling. The fatigue from traveling an average of 200 - 300 km a day for 4 days a week is unbearable.

Anyways, to the main point. An offer to join a company dealing in brokering properties as a partner was the most tempting offer this year and maybe for the past 10 months. However tempting or lucrative this offer proved to be, I still needed to decide. The roadblock stopping me from joining this company is the inconsistency with my belief in the Lord Jesus.

I have decided. I will not join the company because it is not aligned with the will of God. We should not be unequally yoke with non-believers in business as well as marriage. The clashing of ideologies and practices will be detrimental to both parties.

On another note, working where I am working now has become a frustration and burden. The lack of support and cooperation has made work difficult. The strong desire to deliver the results that I yearned to has become a diminishing hope. Is there a better offer?

My new toy...

Just got myself a Canon 40D + 17-85mm f4-5.6 IS USM + 50mm f1.8 for RM....guess?

I'm happy with the performance of this camera. The 6.5fps and high iso low noise performance is just sweet...jump over to my photoblog to view some sample shots. More shots to come.

He, the man...

What a way to celebrate the new year by our Health Minister.

Actually, I was wondering, why didn't the top politicians make some noise during the unfolding of this scandal?

If you watch the Malaysiakini.com video on JeffOoi.com, you can sense the sarcasm in Dr. Chua's statement. He touched on the "holier-than-thou" issue where, the rakyat of Malaysia that consist of politicians are adopting. He particularly touched on the "Islam Hadhari" issue. I believe that this is a conspiracy. Mad idea but this is what I'v been hearing. Lets see what the Police (which refused an Independent Royal Commission) will do to investigate and reveal who is the mischievous-coward behind this. Maybe, maybe isn't a suitable word but ministers and politicians that are involved in similar cases or other issues/scandals should own up to their mistakes. Don't be a no-ball man.
