Conversion is a personal matter

"Inform after conversion", said Nik Aziz (N16, TheStar:13 April 2008). He further strengthen his statement by saying "such decisions should be viewed as a personal matter". Hence, decisions regarding conversions and of religion are all a personal matter. If this applies to people converting to Islam, so must it apply to Muslims converting to other religion. I hope he will not forget what he had said and later on say this only applies to non-Muslims converting to Islam. That will clearly show the insecurity that is deeply entrenched of Muslims and the Islam religion.

Crumbles...

Astro failed to pay the Indonesian government for the rights to use frequencies to air their contents.

KLIA was the center of attention of a daring robbery by a group of Indians (click here).

UMNO is in a state of denial, or at least only its leaders.

So, what other damaging news could make the headlines in Malaysia and the across the world?

I say, sack the arrogant leaders to stop the problem, including my GM.

Listen, listen very carefully...

Pak Lah shouted Sabotage!!! within UMNO. A sore losers cry for mercy...when many in the country, especially UMNO wants him to step down responsibly after the "tsunamic" defeat in the just concluded elections.

I can't help but think that, if a leader were to say such a thing amidst growing possibilities of the the party splitting into teams A and B, the erosion of the party's unity becomes more real. If the alleged spin doctors and big bad wolf styled advisers behind this, then they are only doing his opponents a favour. Maybe to a certain extent, doing him a favour of early retirement.

UMNO will soon become irrelevant in this new era of free willed democracy where no autocratic head leads the pack. The people's voice is the power...listen, listen very carefully.
